Just Do It!!!

Just Do It!!!

Okay, So I have a lot of topics lined up to cover, but I keep doubting the topics, this blog and myself. In my welcome I explained that I want to provide complete transparency. This believing in myself thing is SCARY!!! I tell my friends, family and my husband (all with great talent) to go into business for themselves and that their talent and vision will align and be beneficial to them… much easier to tell than to put into action! I have been obsessing over the look of the website and the content and have been feeling so insecure, too insecure to continue. But I had to remind myself to just do it!

How I see it is, if I launch and it sucks people can tell me how to enhance, what topics they want to see and just overall how to do better. If I never launch and continue to doubt myself I will always be stagnant! I wanted to be completely transparent and share my doubts with you because as a person with a vision, you are going to doubt yourself at some point. There are going to be days that you feel like you are crazy for thinking you can be successful at something (other than what society tells you to be successful at). The worst thing that can happen is you go for your passion and realize you are not great at it, but at least you can re-evaluate and either change directions or enhance your quality to continue to go after that goal.

So all in all… it is completely okay to doubt yourself… you are human! Life gets scary and people’s views can deter you, but you have to really look inside yourself and ask “is this self sabotage” or “this is really a bad idea and I’m glad I’m stopping myself.” If you are not sure of the answer to that question then my suggestion is to just try! If it is supposed to be then it will be successful, you may be advised “this is great but maybe tweak somethings,” then you know you are on the right path. If it’s not supposed to be then it will fail. But don’t be afraid of failure… I had a business that failed (this is a topic for a whole other blog post!) but I am soooo glad I went for it and it failed because I learned so much from it, both personally and professionally.

I say all of this to say Just Do It!
